Membership

WHTA has two lifetime membership categories both of which enable lifetime reduced rates on all WHTA run courses (not including co-run courses with APA), as well as attendance at the MEMBERS ONLY 'ANNUAL RESEARCH UPDATE'

LIFETIME FULL MEMBERSHIP - for registered Physiotherapists and Medical Doctors

• available to any registered physiotherapist or medical doctor​

• does not require prior training in pelvic health

​

 

LIFETIME ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP - for all other registered health professionals

• must be a registered health professional eg nurse, exercise physiologist, occupational therapist etc

  • Australia: must have a current AHPRA registration number

  • other countries: must be registered with their national registration board

  • specific to USA: includes physical therapist assistants

• must already be trained in women's pelvic health including internal examination*

note: USA PTAs and exercise physiologists are exempt

from needing proof of training in internal examination
