Level 1 - Enrolment Information

Enrolment in any of the APA / WHTA Level 1 Women's Health Physiotherapy Training modules listed below is open to any registered physiotherapist.

  • Australian physiotherapists must enroll via the APA website and will get immediate access.

  • Overseas physiotherapists cannot enroll directly with APA unless they have an Australian based credit card. To get around this block, overseas physiotherapists can enroll and pay via WHTA and we will organise your access via the APA.

NOTE

The whole of Level 1 cannot be enrolled in at one time.

Enrolment occurs for each sub-component as the physiotherapists completes the preceding section.

A one-day practical skills course covering introductory screening, clinical reasoning and treatment planning of a range of women's pelvic health case studies.

BACKGROUND

Prior to 2020, WHTA independently ran its own introductory (level 1 and level 2) training in Women's Health Physiotherapy.

After partnering with APA to provide a nationally accredited baseline training, the Australian Physiotherapy Association handles all enrolments and collects the course fees for Level 1 and Level 2 Courses.

​

As a benefit of WHTA Membership, WHTA offers a minimum 20% Cashback on Fees Paid to the APA for the Level 1 ONLINE MODULES, with higher rebates (up to 50% Cashback) for members who meet certain criteria.

​

IMPORTANT

Australian physiotherapists must first enrol and pay the APA fee to the APA.

WHTA members can then complete the WHTA Cashback form and submit to WHTA via admin@whta.com.au to receive a cashback rebate


Net Fees after WHTA Cashback for Level 1 Online Modules

IMPORTANT TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR WHTA CASHBACK PROGRAM

  1. The rebate only applies to the online pre-recorded courses (Intro WH; WPH Level 1 - Part A; WLS Level 1 - Part A)

  2. There is no rebate for the Face-to-Face Courses (WPH Level 1 - Part B or WLS Level 1 - Part B)

AUSTRALIAN PHYSIOTHERAPISTS

  1. To be eligible, physiotherapists must be members of WHTA and make a claim within 6months of APA invoice.

  2. Australian Physiotherapists enrol and pay APA in full for their online modules, then apply for the Cashback via WHTA

​

OVERSEAS PHYSIOTHERAPISTS

  1. Overseas Physiotherapists enrol directly with WHTA who will organise enrolment via APA.

  2. The Cashback rebate will automatically be applied when invoiced by WHTA (no further rebate after payment will be given)
